Rekopane Estates took part at the Farmworker Of The Year 2009 Awards and walked away with a first place in the category of General Worker, won by Lukas Mathee, a second place in the category admin clerk won by Martie September and two certificates received for participating by John Senelo and Jack De Wee. This yearly event is organized and presented by SATI & ORPA in sponsorship with Sanlam and is a great achievement for all farm workers because it represent the whole Northen Cape.
