The workers of Rekopane Estates and the community people of Mc Taggarts Camp where all invited to the venue of Rekopane for the opening game of the Soccer World Cup in June 2010. They watched the game on the big screen and there were hotdogs, cold drink and ice cream for everyone to enjoy. There were also a prizes to be won.
