Trimmers
Bunches
of grapes are trimmed by trained trimmers to ensure
compliance with the exporter’s instructions. Grapes are
handled
with care and any berries with defects are cut away.
Berries
with defects are removed from the pack house immediately
and taken to the juice plant daily.
The
trimmer hands the prepared grape bunch to the sorter,
who placed it in the designated carton, in accordance
with the regulations (grape specifications) of the exporter.
Thereafter grapes are weighed and packed.
